Foreign portfolio investors (FPI) pulled nearly Rs 5,109.21 crore in the last three days from government securities under the fully accessible route amid dampened sentiments due to global uncertainty.
Under the fully accessible route (FAR), eligible overseas investors are allowed to buy and sell certain government securities without any cap.
According to the Clearing Corporation of India (CCIL), FPI investment in government securities under FAR stood at Rs 366,806.286 crore as on September 15, as compared to Rs 371,915.496 crore as on September 9.
The investment stood at Rs 371,520.751 crore as on September 10 and Rs 366,791.286 crore as on September 11, data showed.

A federal judge has ruled that a plan by the Trump administration to slash staffing at the federal agency tasked with responding to disasters by 50 per cent was unlawful.
The opinion issued late Friday marked a victory for labour groups who had sued the agency. The labour organisation had argued that plans by the Department of Homeland Security violated congressional protections that were designed to safeguard the independence of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The issue of the FEMA staffing was part of a much larger lawsuit filed by the American Federation of Government Employees and other labour groups, pushing back on efforts by the Trump administration to slash the federal workforce.
US District Judge Susan Illston wrote in her opinion that top Homeland Security officials late last year directed FEMA's leadership to submit a staffing plan that included a 50 per cent staffing cut even though the agency's own supervisors objected.

Diversified conglomerate ITC expects consumer spending on its flagship food brand Aashirvaad to double to Rs 20,000 crore over the next five years, from around Rs 10,000 crore currently, as it expands into newer food categories and adjacent segments, a senior company official said.
The company is amplifying Aashirvaad's play with a two-pronged strategy for the brand -- strengthening its core atta (wheat flour) business while expanding into adjacent categories such as ready-to-cook foods and frozen snacks, said Hemant Malik, Chief Executive Officer, Foods Division, and Executive Director, ITC Ltd.
